SR500 Gets a Face Lift
We had a customers bike in with a few mechanical issues. After a bit of discussion the owner Matty had a bunch of ideas that he had been putting off. Until now that is.
Everything that even resembled chrome had to be powdercoated black. The forks, levers and shocks all got the treatment. Next the tank got a gloss black paint job. While that was happening the motor came out and it too got a heat proof coat of Satin Black. Then we put on the new seat and grips both in tan colour. Repositioning of the taillight and new indicators is yet to happen along with making the electronics tray a little more discreet. With that much black going on we wanted to break it up a little so the front end got chrome gauges and stainless steel light brackets that work with the chrome fork legs.
What we have here now is a low sleek, mountain machine that will disappear into the darkness ready to pounce again at a moments notice.
